Yep, it is Tuesday again which means it is once again time for our Life In A Lockdown linky! Once again thanks go to Jenni from Lyrical Host for inspiring it and Sarah for creating it and inviting me along for the ride!
It is so simple to get involved. All we ask is that you give both Sarah and I a link back in your post, letting others know where to find the link-up. Then once it is live, all you need to do is pop over to mine or Sarah’s blog and pop your link in the InLinkz at the bottom so we can visit it and leave you a comment!
So how has my week been?

1) How are you feeling/coping?
I am feeling alright! Tired and stressed in the run up to back to school but I am ok!
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
Spending a lot of time at home, getting stuff ready for school! We’ve also gone for some nice long walks with Buddy! We’ve also been sorting out our annexe/games room into an office for myself and Steve – me for my work and Steve for his studying!
3) What are your priorities at the moment, have you changed what you will / won’t go out for?
Making sure the kids are comfortable at school and getting started on really promoting my business.
4) Have you found anywhere doing a really good job of catering to social distancing?
Not this week – I haven’t really been out enough!
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
Not much really – stuff for the kids for school, a new desk for the office, some Kindle books.
6) How has your routine been this week?
All over the place as we try to settle into one again.
7) What have you learnt over lockdown (this doesn’t have to be a skill, it could be about yourself, your family, or something else).
That I really don’t believe in myself as much as I should. I have had some great client feedback in recent months and with the kids both being at school, I am looking forward to promoting myself and putting myself forward for more.
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
The final few days with my kids before they go to school – it has been a long few months but I will miss not having them around all the time!
Please do check out these posts from last week:

I think a lot of parents have been busy in the back to school run up this past week, sadly not for us at the moment I have been trying to source work I can give C to keep her education going while we fight for hers
We’ve been getting things ready for school too. It’s a stressful time for parents but hopefully all will go well. It’ll be a shock to teh system whenthey’re back at school. I’m with you I’m going to miss them loads until I get used to it again.
I can’t believe it’s back to school happening this week – it seems crazy that after all this time kids are going back. I do hope it all goes OK.
I am grateful that my grandson’s school has set up virtual classroom learning so that the kids would be staying home and safe. My grandson enjoys seeing his classmates and teachers through Zoom meetings.
However, the past week was a bit depressing. An old neighbor passed away. My friend’s husband suffered a cardiac arrest (at 39 years old) and did not survive. Another friend’s dad is in the hospital right now and is not doing very well. And then another one of my friends suffered an anxiety attack due to the sudden death of her brother in law. It is just so sad that these things happened to people I hold dear to my heart.
Hopefully this week will have more happy days and less of those depressing situations.
I feel stressed about the kids going back.. My biggest is having a week with his dad and coming back on Sunday, just before school on Monday,so I’m a bit gutted I don’t get to make the most of our time together.
Our routine has been a bit all over, but it has just got back on track this week. I hope that all goes well with the kids going back to school x
How wonderful that you are getting your office space sorted out, it will be fantastic to have your own area to do your work. Also can’t believe how fast September has arrived, both mine head back to school as well and the house is going to be so quite without them around.
Hope everything goes ok with the return back to school-it has come around so quickly!
We have spent the last week preparing for back to school too. Luckily it all went smoothly yesterday
Mine don’t back to school until next week, but I am starting to get stressed.More about trying to fit everything in more than anything
Two of mine went back this week, so we’re easing slowly back into things. I’m already drowning in admin though and feeling pretty stressed out! I hope everything goes well for you x
It’s really good that schools are opening up again, as it helps give routine back to the children
We’ve been back to school for a few weeks. It does take planning and hope it’s went well xx
