Are you a fan of the Angry Birds films? Jack is and has a multitude of toys and books based on the characters. We were recently offered the chance to review this Angry Birds Space Hopper from Tobar.
We have been spending plenty of time out in the garden recently – although stayed indoors during the most recent bout of rainfall! Despite the sheer amount of outdoor toys they have, one more is always welcomed to the fold and the kids have been having lots of fun with this! Olivia is slightly too small for it at its maximum size and slides off but Jack has been spending a lot of time on it! You can however inflate it to a smaller size for smaller children which we will be trying out.
The hopper comes deflated with a air pump which is provided within the box too. The pump has two separate nozzles – a blue one and a red one. To inflate it, you attach the hose to the blue nozzle and pump. What I think is great that you can also deflate the hopper too – handy if you have a lack of storage. To deflate, all you need to do is attach the hose to the red nozzle and pump. The maximum diameter it should be inflated to is 60cm – be sure not to over inflate or it could get damaged.
It is made from a red plastic which so far seems quite sturdy and robust. Jack has been bouncing up and down and it is easy to pump the hopper up if it starts to deflate a little from excessive hopping – Jack would be out there for hours if I let him! It inflates easily and quickly and deflates quickly and easily too – it takes just a couple of minutes to do both so the kids can get out there and having fun straight away!
It is a great toy for the price and the kids will get plenty of use out of it this summer. I only wish I could have a go too! Check out the video of Jack having a go below:

wish I could still bounce around on a space hopper. I LOVED my orange space hopper in the 70’s it was called Tigerlilly, I went everywhere on it! would love to win one for my grandchildren so they can have as much fun as I did

I think this is really cool! My grand kids would love to have this for playing outdoors. My granddaughter likes Angry Birds, so this is perfect.
Oh I have such fond memories of racing around my garden on one of these as a kid. Me and my best friend from school had the best time.

These are fantastic and a great take on an old school toy, my kiddies love Angry birds and its a fun thing for them to watch and play still.
