Day 11 and we’ve still got some fab stuff to give away to you all. Today is a pretty cool prize if I do say so myself!

Paul McCartney is of course known for being a Beatle and when it comes to writing, for having penned some of the most well-known songs in the world. However, now he has turned his hand to something new; writing a children’s story. Hey Grandude is a wonderfully colourful picture book, written for children between 4 and 6 and takes some inspiration from his own journey as a grandfather. The colourful, eye-catching illustrations within the book have been provided by Kathryn Durst.

While Grandude lives in a typical house, on a typical street, has white hair and loves a good nap in his armchair, he is not your typical grandfather. When his 4 grandchildren who he has lovingly nicknamed “The Chillers” come to stay for the weekend they soon end up lacking energy and are just a bit bored, with not even the interesting finds around Grandudes home catching their eyes.

So Grandude has a plan. Thanks to a magical compass and postcards, Grandude and The Chillers head off on some amazing adventures around the world. As it turns out Grandude is really a fearless explorer!

While mild peril may be on the cards, never fear as Grandude will make sure The Chillers all get home safe and sound.

It is perhaps unsurprising that Hey Grandude has been written in a rhythmical, upbeat tempo. If you fancy getting your hands on “Hey Grandude” (affiliate link) it is available to buy on Amazon right now!!

We have a fantastic copy of Hey Grandude to giveaway! All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is to let us know using 8 words or more:

If you could go on a Grandude type adventure – where in the world would you go and what adventures would you have?
