Advent Day 12 – Exit: The Game – The Haunted Roller Coaster

If you are looking for a game with a difference Exit is a series of games, which might be for you. They are all about working together, solving riddles and puzzles to crack the code and let you escape. With up to 4 players allowed, this is an escape room you can do from the comfort of your own home, but don’t sit back and think you can take it easy as the clock is ticking.

With a whole host of games within the Exit series, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to themes and what’s more all you need is included within the box. No need for anything else, even an app!

It is worth noting however, each of the Exit games are one time use; once you start the game you will find yourself marking, tearing, folding and more to try and crack the codes.

The Haunted Roller Coaster, can be played by 1 – 4 player, aged 10 plus! When it comes to difficulty it comes in at 2/5 and is likely to offer 1 – 2 hours of game play.

Dark corridors, terrifying shrieks and bone-chilling monsters, all the things you would normally expect from a haunted house ride. However, you’re locked in, the gates are locked and all you have is a strange riddle which might lead you somewhere? Do you dare try and solve it and see if it will help you find your way out?

    I’d love to do a Harry Potter themed one, that would be so cool. I’d take my Harry Potter mad girlfriend, my sister and mum.

    I’d enjoy an X-Files themed room, maybe where you get to run around with the super bright torches like they used on the show. I’d take my other half to be my Mulder!

    A theme park game would be ideal for us as a family as we love theme parks. Or a haunted house would be good too

    The Haunted Roller Coaster sounds like a great idea for a game. Hard to top that, but it might be worth considering Hitchcock’s “Psycho”, and perhaps more of his stories, as brill backdrop stories.

  19. Love doing escape rooms with my two kids, and I think a great scenario would be escaping from a Pyramid, maybe before a Mummy’s curse struck!

    I did a really awesome zombie apocalypse one in London – we finished with nerf guns and had to knock over zombie targets it was hilarious, we managed to escape with 2 minutes to spare
