Degustabox | October

I was sent the Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

It’s Degustabox time again. This month, the theme of the box was ‘Home Comforts’. The box retails at £12.99 but you can get your first box for just £7.99 with shipping included. Just use this code WDGX9 on the website here (the code gets you a one time discount of £5).

So what did we receive in the box this month?

Growers Garden fresh broccoli crisps – £1.29 each

I’ve never tried broccoli crisps but these were interesting, to say the least. They are less than 99 calories a bag, gluten free and vegan and a great idea for a snack.

Amy’s Kitchen Organic hearty rustic Italian vegetable soup – £2

I love soup, especially at this time of year – and especially vegetable soup. I’ve tried Amy’s Kitchen products in the past and been impressed so really enjoyed this for lunch yesterday.

Maille Tartare Sauce – £1.99

I can’t wait to try this – I love tartare sauce but don’t often buy it as I’m the only one in the house that eats it. Maille is such a prestigious brand so I was super happy to see this in the box.

Maille Mustard with Honey – £1.99

I don’t eat mustard but Steve does – and he is so excited for this. Again from the prestigious brand, a great addition to the box.

Tick Tock Tea – £2.05 each

How beautiful is the packaging for these teas? We don’t actually drink a lot of tea in our house so Steve is taking these into work – he works in a school and the teachers will be very appreciative of these!

Clarks Original Maple Syrup – £2 for 180ml

Steve is part Canadian so was definitely intrigued by this maple syrup with carob fruit syrup. We’ve tried something similar to this before and quite enjoyed it.

Upbeat Drinks Juicy Protein Water Blood Orange and Mandarin – £1.79

These waters contain 12g of protein! They’re sugar free too. We haven’t drunk this yet but it definitely will be refreshing when we get the chance.

Gourmet Drops (vanilla and chocolate flavour) – £3.99 each

We don’t actually drink coffee so we are probably going to use these in baking. They are no added sugar and vegan friendly, carb free, gluten free and fat free. Indulgence without the guilt!

Snatt’s Garlic & Parsley Mediterranean Baked Snacks – £1.49

These contain 100% natural ingredients and were very popular in our house! Olivia kept trying to sneak back for more, she liked them so much!

Boost+ Protein – £1.49

We love Boost bars in our house so this was a very welcome addition to the box! Yum.

Whitworths Shots Chocolate & Hazelnut – £1.89 for a 5 pack

These are such a tasty little snack – all the family enjoyed these. Full of fruit, nuts and seeds, they are just 99 calories!

Pip’s Real Hot Chocolate Coins – £1.50 each

This time of year calls for hot chocolate and these look really interesting, offering single servings of drinking chocolate. They have a wide range of flavours and they’re suitable for vegans too! A great product to have in the cupboard for when you fancy a cup of hot chocolate!

I worked out this box to be very value for money – the products included are well over double the box price altogether, triple if you take the discount. I will admit this isn’t my favourite box by a long way. I’ll use or have used most of the products but nothing really wowed me like other months.

Which item would you be most excited to try?
