We were sent the Talking Peter Rabbit toy for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Peter Rabbit has always been one of Jack’s favourite TV characters. He used to watch CBeebies all the time and Peter Rabbit was one of his favourite shows to watch. Olivia has recently got into the show herself so when offered the chance to review the new talking Peter Rabbit toy from Rainbow Designs, I just knew that both the kids would be so excited!
The toy is super soft and is perfect for cuddles, as Olivia shows in the pictures below! She’s been running around with him constantly, pressing his tummy to hear him speak and cuddling up to him. Available from Argos both in store and online for just £18, the toy is suitable from birth and says 5 different phrases. He’s also wearing his famous blue coat and his green bag – so he can store all the veg he steals from Mr McGregor!
With phrases such as ‘Let’s hop to it!’ , ‘A good rabbit never gives up’ and ‘And all rabbits need a little help from their friends!’, he is instantly recognisable and I’ve been hearing them over and over as the kids pick him up and press his tummy. Another great thing is he came with batteries included which is great when you have an impatient Olivia, desperate to get her hands on him straight away!
Both Jack and Olivia have been loving playing with Peter Rabbit so far and pressing his tummy to hear him talk. I’ve even caught them fighting over it at one point as both wanted to play with it at the same time – oops!
