I’ll admit it, I fell victim to the onesie hype. I always protested that I didn’t want one, that I didn’t want one. But when it seemed as if the world and his wife had one in their wardrobe, I thought that I’d better give one a go. I was sent the Retro hooded onesie* from Funzee to review – Funzee have a fantastic range of adult onesies to choose from; I’m definitely thinking about adding the Polar onesie to my collection!
For the purpose of this review and to show you just how comfortable I am in it, here is a picture sans makeup. This isn’t a sight I usually unleash on the world but I needed to show you just how comfy it is; I change into it as soon as I get in from work now – it’s a routine!

The onesie is 100% cotton which obviously is a major factor in how comfortable it is. It has a zipper down the front, enabling you to slip in and out of it. It comes with large pockets either side to keep hands warm and a breast pocket to put items in such as your phone. Funzee specialise in unisex sizing meaning this onesie is perfect for men or women – I haven’t yet convinced Steve to try it though!
It washes well – always a major plus point for me when trying an item of clothing for the first time. A piece of clothing can be amazing but the quality can decline after the first wash – no such problem with this. I am currently wearing the onesie whilst writing this; it has almost become a second skin!
Would I buy more onesies? I definitely would, they’re such a great item of clothing for around the house – so comfy and soft. I’m definitely thinking about purchasing the Polar one from Funzee but I’ve also been searching around to see what other designs there are – the way I’m going, I could end up with a whole wardrobe full!

I love it! I'm obsessed with them – I have a couple of thick sweater ones from Topshop and a couple of cheapy Primark ones, if I'm in the house, I'm wearing a onesie!x
