When it comes to our lifestyle, there are often things we aren’t happy with. There are changes we want to make but don’t know how to implement them. I know that there are a few things I am considering doing to make a change in my lifestyle and here are four small lifestyle changes you can make today.
Revamp Your Diet
I am awful for caffeine and sugar. Whilst I no longer drink sugary drinks, I can often be found munching on chocolate and other sugary desserts or enjoying sweet drinks. And whilst I no longer drink sugary sodas, they are usually packed full of caffeine which also isn’t that good for me.
I am pretty good at eating fruit and vegetables but I could definitely do with eating more.
Quit Your Vices
I don’t drink very often but I do enjoy the odd tipple. If I drunk a little more, I’d definitely be considering reducing the amount I drunk. I no longer smoke either, neither does Steve but I’d definitely be thinking about quitting if I was looking to make some changes. When Steve was quitting, he turned to vaping and used e liquid which made the quitting process a lot easier for him. You can get a variety of different flavours and you can get different strengths – some with nicotine and some nicotine free!

Drink More Water
It sounds so simple but so many of us find it difficult to do, me included! I can easily put away soft drinks, squash, hot drinks but ask me to drink a lot of water and I really struggle! I’m trying to be better at it by filling up a bottle every morning and trying to finish it by a certain point of the day before refilling it and doing it again. It can be hard to make the change but it should apparently become second nature after a while.
Get More Sleep
This is something I am awful for! I definitely don’t get anywhere near enough sleep. No matter how tired I am, I can easily be up until 2am reading, watching TV or getting lost on social media. When I need to get up before 7am to get the kids ready for school, that isn’t ideal! I know that if I got more sleep, I would definitely feel a lot better but it can be difficult to make that initial change. I am trying to go to bed a little earlier each night and settle down without any technology – choosing to read a book instead. I do occasionally opt for my Kindle but as this is a device, I try to restrict and reduce my usage before bedtime.
These are my four best ways to make some changes to your lifestyle right now. Some might take a little while to get used to but once you’ve put them into action, you will surely start to feel a lot better!
