Jack’s #PetitsFilousFirsts

This post is an entry for BritMums #PetitsFilousFirsts Linky Challenge, sponsored by Petits Filous.

Jack has been eating and enjoying Petits Filous for as long as I can remember and now they have added the brand new My First Petits Filous to their range. Vanilla in flavour and low in sugar, they are perfect for the weaning journey as they have been developed especially to introduce children to fromage frais.

Full of calcium and protein to help children develop strong bones and with 100% naturally sourced ingredients, you can guarantee there are no chemical nasties in your little ones yogurts. These are already available from Asda and Morrisons (£1.59 for 6) and will be available in Tesco from the 6th of June. I have been letting Jack try these vanilla flavoured My First Petits Filous as he loves his yogurts and he has really been enjoying. Britmums asked us to talk about our firsts so I thought it would be nice to take a look back at Jack’s firsts, especially as he has so many more to come.

I could hardly start off his firsts without a quick glance at his first attempt at feeding yogurt to himself, could I?

Jack’s First Christmas

Jack was only three weeks old when his first Christmas rolled around so we headed to our caravan for the festive season. Jack, of course, at three weeks old was completely oblivious!

Jack’s first taste of food

Weaning was such an adventure with Jack. He would try literally anything and enjoyed pretty much everything! It was always so funny to see his reactions when he tried certain foods for the first time – and so cute too!

Jack’s first holiday

After winning some money on my actual due date, we knew that we wanted to take a holiday at some point and booked to go to Rome – just me, Steve and Jack. It was an amazing holiday where Steve and I got engaged and Jack seemed to enjoy it too!

Jack’s first birthday party – and first proper steps

At Jack’s 1st birthday party, he loved being the centre of attention. So much so that he took 15 steps across the room before plonking himself back down on the floor again and refusing the same feat for at least another month. Lazychops!

Jack’s first time seeing Santa on his sleigh

Each year Santa goes round on his sleigh and it was such a magical experience for Jack to see him for the first time – he loved it!

Jack’s first ice cream at the seaside

What firsts post would be without the first ice cream at the seaside? Let’s just say Jack really enjoyed it and got very messy!

Jack’s first day at preschool

I can’t believe this was over a year ago now – Jack really enjoyed his time at his preschool and misses the people terribly.

Jack’s first day at nursery

Whilst Jack was sad to be leaving pre school, he was so excited to go to nursery and he loves it there. He only has 7 weeks left before the summer holidays and him going to school full time in September – I can’t believe it has come around so quick!

We’ve had so many firsts already and we’ve got so many more on the way – and Petits Filous has been by our side along the way. Around since 1996, they are the number 1 kids yogurt and fromage frais brand and Jack absolutely loves them. We’ve been enjoying trying the new My First Petits Filous and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with children 6 months and up – they’re a great way of introducing fromage frais to your young child.

What firsts can you remember?
