Tea sent for purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Now I love a good cup of tea – and I think you lot probably know that already. I come from a family of tea drinkers so when asked if I would like to review some tea from Coffee & Kin and give some away to a lucky reader, I knew I’d have to get my mum and Nan on board to test some out.
I was sent some of the English Breakfast and the Earl Grey teas to review, with the help of my trusty review team. These loose leaf tea pyramids both retail at £4.50 for the pack. As you can see, they are packaged as Tea & Kin which I think is a nice little touch.
As you can see, the pyramids themselves look of great quality and you can quite clearly see the tea within which I think is great – you can see exactly what you will be consuming.

All of their tea has been sourced through the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), a not for profit membership organisation who aims to improve tea sustainability, the lives and livelihoods of tea workers and smallholder farmers, and the environment in which tea is produced.
So what did we think of both the teas we were sent? We were very impressed – both with the taste and packaging and the ethos of the company. We followed instructions and used 1 pyramid per cup, heated the water to 100°C and brewed for 3-7 minutes and we loved it. Just how a cup of tea should taste! We loved the resealable packaging and we loved the biodegradable pyramid infuser which aims to give the tea enough space to move around and release its flavour. It is also much more environmentally friendly than the material other tea bags or pyramids use.
I’ve been sipping away on this tea for a few days now and have even had some stolen off me by Mum and Nan for their own use – that’s how much they like it! How would you like the chance to win a month’s worth of tea for yourself? Just fill in the Rafflecopter below. The giveaway is UK only and ends at 11.59pm on 5th of May 2018! Good luck!
