You probably already know that I love travelling and I’ve struggled with not being able to travel as much in recent years. Steve and I have been talking about our travels as we go forward, especially now as he has had a massive job change and a decent income increase. We’ve got a few places that we are considering visiting but something that keeps coming up is the Caribbean.
We’ve already discussed that we want to head to the Caribbean on honeymoon when we finally get married but if we can get there beforehand, perhaps taking advantage of Royal Caribbean cruise deals, then why wouldn’t we?
Here’s some reasons why we’d like to head to the Caribbean and seek some adventure:
The Weather
Living in the UK, you can probably understand why I am fed up of the weather here. I never know where to stand this weather and trying to dress accordingly is a nightmare. The weather in the Caribbean is incredible and is the perfect place for a getaway, especially with this awful weather we have been having!
The Scenery
You cannot deny that the Caribbean hasn’t got some of the most beautiful scenery! Plenty of gorgeous beaches, luscious vegetation and wonderful sights to see, the islands and countries you can visit in the Caribbean all seem picture perfect!

The Culture
I’ve mentioned the sights to see and there really is plenty to see and do. There are so many different places in the Caribbean that you can visit with so many fantastic landmarks! For instance, I am keen to visit the Bob Marley museum in Jamaica and the Death In Paradise set tour in Guadeloupe.
The Food
Now if I am heading on holiday, I want to try out the local cuisine. I’m not boring nor am I fussy and I will happily try out most food offered to me. Fruit is a big thing in many dishes which is great for me and I am keen to try out some more exotic fruits. I am also kee to try plenty of flavourful dishes!
Despite an increase in income, we are still going to be looking to keep our trips around the world on a budget. We’ve considered going on a cruise and so we will be checking out cruise deals to ensure we are saving pennies wherever we can! Travelling is so important to us but if we can save some money, why not?
Speaking of money, it’s also important to plan your payment methods before you head to another country. Making sure you’ve got the right currency and valid credit cards for your upcoming adventure will make the process of your holiday much more enjoyable overall. If you do find yourself short of cash whilst travelling, or you have a family member who is in a different country and needs money quickly, you could look into money transfer to India and other popular travel destinations. Luckily, there is an app which helps you to send and receive money quickly from many countries at any time, so you’ll never be short of money when you’re soaking up your next adventure!
These are just a few reasons why we want to go on holiday in the Caribbean. Maybe we might be able to go to before we head off on honeymoon, who knows? Have you ever been – where did you go? I’d love to hear some suggestions about countries and islands to visit!
