So you may be stuck for some ideas. If that is the case then here are some things to think about.

Video consoles and games

Many pre-teens are into gaming. So you could look at different console options as a great gift. The latest video consoles, however, can be a bit pricey. A gift to do with a hobby

If your son or daughter has a particular hobby, then this could be your first place to look for gift ideas. They might be into computer coding so some new software would be a good choice. They might like collecting things so workout how you can add to the collection. Maybe he’s into his arts and crafts so some new equipment would be a great idea. It could even be something like roller blades or skates that they can play out with. However, make sure you know the basic differences between roller skates and rollerblades to get this right. Music is a popular hobby for many kids who like to start their own collections. Many fans now want physical copies of albums to keep on their shelves. Maybe your child is keen on sports. When kids are involved in sports, there is always something that needs replacing. Either new equipment or accessories. Maybe they need a new pair of boots or some other sportswear they need. They may even just follow a team so some memorabilia would be a lovely gift idea. Perhaps a new kit for their favourite team, or a signed shirt or ball.

A new gadget

If your child is more into their technology than their sports then how about a new gadget. Something from the Apple store like an iPod or an iPad is always a popular choice.
