Collaborative Post
Making some time for yourself is so important but getting the time to do it can be so rare. With Jack heading back to school in September and Olivia joining him in nursery during the mornings, I am going to get a little more me-time! Obviously the majority of this will be taken up with work but when I do get the time, I want to practice some self care. Here’s what I plan to do…
Pamper Myself
Who doesn’t love a little bit of a pamper? I know I do. Our new house has a massive bath too so it is so easy to settle down and relax in a bubble bath without a care in the world. Maybe try out some new skincare items, take a nap if I haven’t been getting enough sleep, pop a face mask on! All of these are perfect for pampering myself.
Play Some Games
I love playing games – whether it is a game on my phone or playing some games online – I love to take a spin here and have the chance of winning some money. I always make sure to play within my means and take some time away from my screen too. I love the thrill of winning a game or completing a level. Some time to play on my own would be perfect.

Read A Book
You know how much I love reading – and I even talk about the books I read on this blog! I’d love some time to get some uninterrupted reading done. I’ve been reading a lot of books for blog tours recently so it would be nice to pick up something from my own bookshelves and devour it.
Catch Up On Some TV
If you are anything like me, you will always have a trillion series on the go. I’m currently working my way through 911 – it is a series I am really enjoying. I’ve also got plenty of things on my list on Netflix – plenty of true crime documentaries – and loads on my Prime Video account too. I’ve got plenty to watch to enjoy some me-time!
Meet Up With Some Old Friends
As a mother, I find making time to meet up with old friends can be so difficult. I’d love the chance to meet up with a few – perhaps go for afternoon tea or for lunch. Even to have them round for a cup of tea and a chat or visit their houses. Just some time with those I miss would be really lovely.
I can’t wait to have some time back to myself and I know exactly what I’ll be doing! How do you enjoy your me time?

I enjoyed reading this. We all need a bit of ‘me time’ to chill out and relax! Personally I have been so pleased that my local swimming pool has reopened. I find a swim (in the outdoor pool if at all possible) followed by a hot drink in their coffee shop is great for de-stressing, and good for my health and fitness as well.
I agree that taking time out for self-care is so important. I also really enjoy reading and having the occasional pamper session.
