This week was a stressful one and I found myself texting my consultant on Sunday evening panicking about weigh in yesterday. It seems that when you have a smaller amount to go until a milestone, the stress and pressure intensifies! After losing 1.5lb last week and only needing 0.5lb weight loss to hit my stone, I really struggled.
I was really good eating wise this week and only fell off the wagon twice – I ended up having a calzone from the kebab shop early on in the week and then a few too many vodkas on a girls night in on Thursday – I think what I struggled with this week was that I had been relatively good but I was feeling totally bloated and fatter than I had on previous weeks. I also didn’t get my body magic in for two days as my little boy was poorly at the tail end of last week. I tried to pull it back yesterday by saving as many syns as possible for after weigh in…and it worked!
I GOT IT! I got my 1 stone award! This week I lost 0.5lb – I would have liked to get more but just getting that meant the world to me after a really rubbish few days and people from my group will tell you how happy I was yesterday! I can’t wait to receive my certificate to add to my inspiration wall and I am loving having a shiny new sticker on my book!
A stone was my first target and now I’ve done that, I am aiming for another stone. I like to take it a step at a time and hopefully I will see a good loss next week as I am aiming to be 100% on plan until weigh in – no slip ups! We had some interesting conversations in group yesterday and I am taking things on board, hoping to see some difference next week from the changes I’ve made. Wish me luck!
{I am also completing the Sport Relief Mile Challenge on March 20th so will be walking/ running loads for this – I’m doing the 3 miles and I am going to attempt to run – *shock horror* – I have two team members currently and am trying to get donations – there is no obligation but I would love a little help if anyone could – our team page is here 🙂 !}
