This week was gearing up to be a good week. I was eating quite well and was continuing to do my walking. I still haven’t got that much other exercise in at the minute due to a variety of reasons (lack of time and injuries playing huge parts in this) but I feel good that I am least getting my walking in every day.
As the weekend hit I really began to crave chocolate and I really realised that meant just one thing, something that could affect my weight when I weighed in was on its way. Over the weekend I tried not to indulge but I did indulge in a couple of chocolate bars, going over my syns ever so slightly on both days.
On weigh in day yesterday I was so busy that I only had my breakfast (using my HEA and HEB) and a Twirl (using my syns) before time to weigh in rolled around. I was helping my consultant with both groups so had to be there 2 hours earlier than I normally would have been, hence the rushing around all day with school runs, errands etc and lack of time to eat or do any more exercise. I wasn’t feeling it at all, I was so sure I had put on despite being good for the majority of the week. Wearing my weigh in outfit, I stepped on the scales to…. a loss of 1.5lb.
I was so certain I was going to put on so a loss like this was especially good for me. It means I only need to lose half a pound to be back to where I was before my birthday and it means I am just 4lbs away from my stone. I even set 4lbs as my target for next week as I know that last month I managed to hit a 4lb loss around this time of the month too – the weeks Steve gets paid are my best for weight loss as its the massive food shop week where we literally stock up on speed and free foods and try to meal plan as much as possible.
This week is going to be difficult. It is both Steve and my mum’s birthdays on Thursday, we have a family party on Saturday, Valentines Day on Sunday and a family meal with my in laws at an Indian restaurant (late birthday meal for me and Steve) to contend with but I am confident that I can make the right choices and get some exercise in and hopefully see a big loss next week. Fingers crossed!

Well done, I am sure setting achievable goals means you can achieve them more easily. Good luck.
The loss of an ounce is the loss of the bounce. The loss of a pound sees the shrink of the round.
Every bit helps. Well done you. That’s a great loss this week xx
Well done on the loss this week and keep going – it will be such an achievement to hit the stone. I’m trying to get fitter but these dark, wet evenings make it hard to get the trainers on and jog round the block.
Big ell done on that loss and here is to a good week of food choices and really enjoying all that you have going on. Mich x
Well done Bex! That’s a great loss. x

Yay! Congratulations 😀 Today’s weigh in day for me too and I nearly didn’t bother as I pigged out last night and wasn’t expecting to see a loss, but I lost 1.3 lbs this last week. Keep up the good work!
