Have you heard of Floately yet? I have been hearing a lot about them in recent weeks or months, especially in the home décor circles. I have many friends who have just bought their first homes or who are redecorating or renovating their current property. With all of these situations comes a change in some home décor and Floately seems to be a brand whose name comes up time and time again.
We are still currently renting this property and hope to either buy this in the not-too-distant future and renovate OR buy back in the village we are from which is just down the road. With that in mind, we have been thinking about all of the contemporary home décor we will be looking to have in a place that we own.
Both Steve and I love the old country farmhouse style, but modern country décor is also something that appeals to us. A part of me also loves art deco – blame me growing up around it all because of my Nan’s love for it – and I love the modern art deco twist some people are putting on their properties.
We have been taking a look at all of the products that Floately have to offer and I am not going to lie, I am sorely tempted to buy them all! The company are contemporary decorative piece brand and have some gorgeous decoration pieces that will definitely make any visitor stop and stare.
Their pieces baffle my mind as they look so good yet are floating – yes, floating! They have some wonderful pieces such as a levitating light bulb and a magnetic floating display. I am also enamoured by the levitating plant – it looks so cool!
Something that I could definitely see making an appearance in our home has to the Luna – Floating Moon Lamp. We are all big space fans in our household, and we have so many space related items that this would not look out of place in our living room, our office or even in Jack’s bedroom. It is beautiful and stunning to look at. You can even set the mood by controlling the brightness and colour of the lamp with a single touch. You can also keep it rotating or set in place too! It would be a brilliant addition to our home.
The VOLTA is also a super cool light that I could see fitting perfectly within my office. I love those old cartoons where when someone has a great idea the lightbulb springs up. How cool would it be to have this on my desk when I have lots of different ideas for work? It is affordable and it is super chic and minimalist – I just love it! It fits with any décor style too which means it is a great choice from the Floately range. It has already sold thousands of units and it is easy to see why!
I also really like the Airsai too. We don’t have many plants around the home – just the odd vase of flowers – but I am keen to change that and this seems like the perfect option.
It is a levitating planter which helps to create a relaxing atmosphere inside your home. With it’s spinning technology, plants will be nourished with 360 degrees of sunlight exposure which allows them to grow straighter and healthier – all whilst floating. There are four unique styles to choose from and I’m tempted to get one of each for around the home!
As we prepare to buy a house, we are slowly changing up our décor – out with the old and in with the new. We have spent the last few months decluttering and have a lot of stuff to go up for free on our reuse sites, to the charity shops or to the tip. This means much more space for new stuff – and Floately décor is at the top of my list!
