The Selfie Bag | Review

We were sent the bag for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

As a content creator, I love anything that helps me with putting together said content. I also have two budding video makers who live with me. I often find Jack and Olivia have filmed some fun videos on their devices and they aspire to be Youtubers when they grow up (although that’s still under some intense discussion in our house!).

We were asked if we would like to review a bag from the Cotton Bag Co called the Selfie Bag. It retails at £27.95 including VAT and P&P. You can buy yours here. But what did we think?

What’s Included In The Bag?

The bag is a stylish canvas bag. This comes with internal pockets and a zip closure. Inside the bag you will find a Bluetooth tripod selfie stick, an led ring light, a pop up reflector and a selfie tip booklet.

The bag is really stylish and absolutely great for storage!

What did we think?

First of all, let’s talk about the bag. It is a decent size and has a great design. I love that it has a zip top which means you can be sure that your items are secure and it has plenty of space for all of the things that you need to carry around.

The Bluetooth selfie stick is incredibly easy to use. You need to download an app to your phone but that takes just seconds.

We have been using it a lot – we connect it to my phone and then use it to take group photos. It is really easy to use and I can see us getting a lot of use out of both the selfie stick and the tripod features.

The pop up reflector is so handy. It comes tucked in its own mini bag so it doesn’t take up too much space when not in use. I probably won’t use this as much as other items in the bag but it is a very handy addition and we have used this a couple of times too. It’s great and easy to pop away.

The LED ring light is something I was SO happy to see included in the bag. Over the years I have ummed and aahed about getting one but never taken the plunge. I mostly film or take photos on my phone nowadays so a small LED ring light such as this has proved to be the perfect size. It fits easily to the top of my phone and even came with a lead to charge.

The light has three different settings which is great – you can easily adjust it to get the perfect lighting.

Finally, the booklet! This was a nice little addition, showing you how to take the best selfies.

Overall, this is a lovely bag and great for those creating content on their phones. I restrict my children when it comes to posting content online but they watch a lot of Youtube videos and like to make their own videos. Whilst they are for their own consumption, it has been nice seeing their confidence grow and their skills grow when using these items.

If you have a budding content creator or an obsessed selfie taker in your house, then this bag may just be the bag for them!
