Tesco Christmas Chocolate

Much like most other women, I adore chocolate. When given the opportunity to try out some of Tesco’s new Christmas range, it was pretty obvious what the answer would be – a resounding yes, of course!
We were sent two items to try: the Santastic Cinnamon (£5) and the Milk Chocolate Gingerbread Stars (£5). Cinnamon and gingerbread are two of my favourite flavours so the temptation not to share was overwhelming – however, I did let Steve and Jack try a little bit!

The Santastic Cinnamon was definitely my favourite of the two. This had more flavour to it than the gingerbread stars and I loved the shape of it – the Christmas tree design definitely looked effective and made us all feel more in the Christmassy mood. Jack especially liked the little chocolate baubles from the tree, even trying to steal the ones off my piece at one point!

Whilst the Gingerbread Stars may not have packed as much of a punch flavour wise as the other chocolate, these were definitely very moreish and it took all my willpower to put them away before I ate them all! These are the perfect size for that extra little present for someone.

Since I shop at Tesco weekly, I can guarantee these will be making their way into my trolley again and I shall definitely be checking out others in the range. I am very impressed – both the packaging and the quality convey a much higher price point than these actually retail at – akin more to Hotel Chocolat and similar. Suffice to say, there is no chocolate left now, not even a crumb! I’ve even repurposed the little blue box!

Have you tried anything from Tesco’s Christmas chocolate range?

What did you think?

  1. The ChocABlok range from tesco are fab! I can't stand cinnamon though, which it a pity because it looks so nice!
Might give the gingerbread stars a go 🙂
