Superzings Toys | Review

We were sent these items for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Jack has long been a fan of Superzings and has built up quite a collection over the years. They are a great little treat for him to spend his pocket money on and always something his Nanny would buy him if they were out together because they’re so affordable and she wanted to help him build his collection.

We both love the concept of Superzings – everyday items as superheroes or perhaps even supervillains. They can be a toaster, a tennis racket, headphones, chocolate bar, coin or even a hat – just some of the ones Jack already has in his collection!

We were sent a variety of Superzings products to review including some of the one packs. Jack was very excited to open up one of the packs and find a super rare Superzing – they are like the Holy Grail of the collection! He also found a rare one too! So what did we think?

Jack loves collecting these Superzings one packs as they’re great for spending his pocket money on. He received ten packs and was so pleased to see a golden Superzing. He received the rare Silver Johnny, Rayflower, Boomer, Big Dunky, super rare Outlaw Clint, Choc Shock, Driller, Waverider, Juicetice and Fred Quency. Costing just a few pound at a time, these are great for collecting.

This Rivals of Kaboom Tower Assault is great. Launch Superzings into the air with the catapult and watch as the Tower Assault gobbles them up! The set comes with two exclusive Superzings and Jack had great fun launching them and watching them fly! Even Olivia got involved and thought it was hilarious as they flew across the room!

The Monster Roller is a fabulous truck which has a built in blaster and comes with two exclusive Superzings. The supercannon swallows up the Superzings as it runs over them before ejecting them out. This has proved great fun for the kids – endlessly running over the different Superzings and laughing as they’re ejected. Again, this set comes with two exclusive Superzings which I think is a nice touch. All Superzings playsets seem to come with one or two exclusive Superzings and it is wonderful in helping kids build their collection.

The final item we were sent was the Kazoom Lab. This was very impressive once put together – the set comes in separate pieces and you have to slot them together but this is very easy and takes just a couple of minutes. The set comes with two exclusive Superzings and the set is based around a lab attack. It comes with Enigma and Professor K figures and is about their battle. There’s plenty of traps, a ship to escape on and multiple weapons. Who will win the battle?

This is perhaps Jack’s favourite item – there is just so much to see and do with it and so much for different Superzings to explore. He has been getting up in the morning and reaching for the lab first – keen to start the battle off once again for another day.

We’ve been very impressed with these Superzings items. As I mentioned previously, Jack already had a large collection of Superzing figures but it has been wonderful to add these playsets into the mix, giving him a whole new dimension of imaginative play with his figures. It has been wonderful to see what he and Olivia come up with and the different stories they tell each time they play with the figures and the sets.

For ages 4-7, these are the perfect stocking filler this Christmas – and are perfect for beyond too with the figures being ideal for pocket money spends. The sets are super affordable and help children to build upon their collections with the extra figures they get with each one.

We can’t wait to add more Superzings to our collection – especially rare and super rare ones! Do you collect them?

  9. These look like great toys and I like that they are so affordable because I do worry about how families can cope with the cost of Christmas, it must be really difficult for a parent when your child wants toys that are out of your price range or budget.
