With Summer right around the corner, I am sitting here now looking out into our garden and thinking that we really must do something with it this year. Our garden is fairly small but its a nice sunny day and it would be nice to really make the most of it. I’ve been thinking of different ways to spruce the garden up for summer given the limited space we have and have come up with a few ideas.
First things first, we need to sort out the grass. We had a ton of stinging nettles pop up last year that just wouldn’t go away and our gardener sorted them out by putting something down for them but it also killed some of the grass. That is our top priority, making our grass nice and green and luscious again. We also need to do some deweeding, just to ensure our garden is weed free.
Next we want to add some more flowers. We have the most gorgeous flowers in our garden which bloom every year – we are really quite lucky and it would be lovely to see some more gorgeous flowers blooming all over the place.
We’re also considering getting some timber decking in our garden if we are allowed to. Part of the problem with our garden is that it is sort of on a slope and the ground is quite uneven up to a certain point. If we could have something out there that would even it out and make a nice space for us to sit outside and enjoy the weather, that would be fantastic!
I’ve got so many ideas and plans for this summer and it would be great to be able to utilise our garden a lot more for once. Here’s hoping I get to use it more this year.
