Shopping in Watford

I was recently given the opportunity to take a look around the new look John Lewis store in Watford – not only is there a John Lewis store but now they also have a Little Waitrose too! Very handy if you just need to grab a few things! Residing in the intu shopping centre, formerly known as the Harlequin, it is just fifteen minutes way from me by car so we headed down there to see what had changed. I have to apologise in advance and say I barely got any photos (and those I did were blurry) as I was too interested in taking a look around each and every floor.

We decided to leave taking a look round the new Little Waitrose store and cafe until the end as we knew we would be hungry by then and could treat ourselves to something nice! The new Little Waitrose is quite small in terms of size but it sure does pack a lot of stuff into it! We spent ages in the aisles choosing something for dinner that night – and of course, a few treats! With weddings to save for, we have been looking to cut costs wherever possible which would usually mean treats from Waitrose would be out of our budget but we wanted to make the most out of our experience and that is what we did! It amazed us just how much stuff the John Lewis and Little Waitrose stores had over the numerous floors and we will definitely be visiting again very soon, if only for the cafe! I do have my eye on a cute little desk from there though so hopefully I will be able to make it mine very soon if I am going to be working from home!
