Its time for another instalment of my pregnancy diaries but I don’t have too much to tell you this week. I’ve had no midwife appointments, I haven’t got a scan until the 9th and I’ve been having much of the same as I was before – the occasional heartburn, the constant exhaustion.
I’ve been feeling baby girl getting a bit stronger with her kicks and jabs recently which has been strange but is quite hilarious for Jack to see apparently – he’s taken to calling her by the name we’ve pretty much chosen and he is so excited about her arrival – he is going to be the greatest big brother!
I did however have my baby shower at the weekend which was lovely – I was given some lovely gifts, fed a lot of cake and sweets and stuff and we played some hilarious games too. I will be posting about the baby shower properly in a separate post though when I have some pictures from the day. Thanks goes to my friends Laura, Em and Em who were in charge of the baby shower invitations and everything on the day!
I haven’t got much else planned for this week except for Jack’s birthday and party on Sunday – eek! How is my baby boy going to be 5? He’s growing up so fast before my very eyes. We want to make this birthday and Christmas extra special as they will be his last ones as an only child and I can’t wait to spend them with him. It seems bizarre that my first baby is getting all grown up and not long after Christmas I will have a brand new baby in my arms..absolutely crazy!
