I’ve made no secret before that myself and Steve have spoken about our future at length in the past. From the house that we want to how many children we want – all the stuff you talk about. We’ve talked about eventually (possibly) emigrating out to Canada where Steve’s Grandad was originally from and what our plans are when our children are grown up – there is a whole heap of travelling we’ve been wanting to do for years and although we are still young, it isn’t going to happen until we are a lot older.
We are also your typical twenty somethings – we started planning our own bucket lists a good few years ago now. Everybody wants to do a number of things in their life, no matter how easy or difficult those things may be. Some may be free, some wildly expensive but that doesn’t change the fact that we want to do them no matter what.
Things on our travel bucket list include visiting the geysers in Iceland, taking a trip on the Orient Express, going Down Under and hopefully road tripping across the USA. Out of all the cities in the US, we have plans to eventually visit most of them. Of course we want to visit the big cities such as NYC, Washington DC but we also want to visit landmarks and attractions in other cities such as the Gateway Arch in St Louis or the San Francisco Aquarium of the Bay. I’ve only been abroad to one country in my lifetime so it makes sense that travelling is a major feature on my personal bucket list -especially when my family lives in various countries all across the world too!
Of course, travelling the world isn’t the only thing on our bucket lists – we have a multitude of other things that we want to do such as write a novel (me), swimming with dolphins (also me), become an accountant (Steve – and something he’s already putting into action).
I’m coming up to 25 now and I’m not really any closer to achieving the things on my bucket list. I need to knuckle down, get saving and prepare to have the time of my life in a few years time. I just need to put the hard work in first. That’s the plan – something I need to work towards. Will you join me on this journey? This is just the first of many plans that I wish to share with you.

My bucket list tends to get longer rather than shorter! Good luck with yours.
I want to write a novel too. I will one day! I also wanted to swim with dolphins and I realised that dream this year (mind you I'm a lot older than 25).
Travelling and a best selling novel is on my list too! – I am lucky enough to have swam with dolphins for free (accidentally on purpose, long story) ha ha. There is nothing I can describe that is better than seeing dolphins out in the wild though. Add Egypt Sharm El Sheikh to your travel list, do a VIP boat cruise, you will not regret it <3
