For the past twelve months, I have been amassing vouchers and presents for this Christmas and have barely spent any money at all. I’ve been earning Amazon vouchers through my survey sites and even won some amazingly. I’ve won a lot of the presents I’ll be giving away and have bought most of the remainder with the vouchers I have earned. We are spending Christmas at Steve’s parents and they say not to buy anything for the day (even though we want to!) so it looks as if that day will be very cheap too.
You may call me very organised but I wouldn’t say so. I still haven’t got a couple of presents that I want to get. There are a couple of things I’ve had my eye on for Jack that I haven’t got as we just can’t afford them and I’ve also been thinking of some new gift ideas for Steve. I always get him video games without fail and usually a Lynx set but I’m thinking that clothes would be a better bet – or at least some vouchers for them!
He is quite a fussy person when it comes to clothing and I do struggle to buy for him for that very reason but I do know of a few items he really needs and that is why I have been looking at a few different items such as shirts, ties and the odd mens jumper. I always struggle with what colours to get, what sizes to get as us women know that shops differ in their sizes no matter what, what fit. But it would be nice to make the effort and get a really nice gift for once – I still don’t feel as if I have ever picked the perfect gift for him yet and this is our fifth Christmas together!
Fingers crossed I will eventually get it right and really wow him with a Christmas gift. He always manages to amaze me every year so I really need to get him something that will be used and appreciated. Wish me luck!
