When the lovely people at nspa got back in contact with me again asking if I wished to try an EDT from their new fragrance range, I had to say yes. Perfume is something of a luxury for me – whilst I have a few, I don’t remember the last time I bought one for myself as it seems to be the go to present from family and friends for any given occasion: birthday, Christmas, leaving work.
I am very much a fan of floral scents but decided I wanted to try something a little different with nspa’s latest offerings. There is a choice of three scents: Bloom which is a floral scent, Pure which is a fresh scent and Orient which is an oriental scent. Whilst I love floral scents and am not adverse to the odd fresh fragrance, I find these are better suited to summer and oriental scents are much better for when those dark nights are drawing in.
First off, can we take a minute to talk about how beautiful the perfume bottle is? A simple glass bottle with a silver cap and minimal labelling, this is so pretty and something I am definitely going to have on show. The detailing on the back is gorgeous and the box it comes in is very pretty too!
Described as an oriental scent of ornate orchids, amorous ambers and sensual silks, this EDT also contains tones of lily, vanilla and musk whilst infused with the essential oil of Mandarin. The nspa EDT’s are inspired by fragrance spectrums used by leading perfumers and are designed to help you find your new signature perfume.
This smells incredible and unlike other EDT’s isn’t going to break the bank either – these cost just £8 each or you can buy 2 for £10 – these are perfect Christmas gifts for someone without hitting the credit card too much! I will definitely be picking the other two up as presents for myself in the future (how can I not?) and I know that these will definitely be making it into some Christmas stockings this year!
Are you a fan of the nspa range? What do you think of them branching into EDTs?
