Mojo

Recently, I’ve been struggling. Struggling to find my voice amidst all the other voices out there. My motivation for blogging has hit a record breaking low, yet I’m still posting every day. I’ve got ideas for posts coming out of my ears, metaphorically speaking, and reviews of products that I need to put up asap – yet I can’t find the energy to do so.
Some may say that the lack of energy is down to having a two month old baby, but I don’t think it is. I quite enjoy the brief time I set aside each day to spend posting, reading my favourite blogs and checking various social networks. I enjoy sitting down in front of the computer for that brief time per day, especially if I can get a post or two out. However, I have been severely lacking motivation recently and I don’t feel my posts have been up to the best quality they can be.
Luckily now I feel refreshed. I scheduled a couple of posts a few days ago to give me a little break from posting (except for my Project 365 posts). I quite enjoyed this little break, and now I’m back, feeling better than ever.
Staying at home all day makes it seem like I have all the time in the world to blog, but in fact I have a very tight window in between feeds, changes and naps – and sometimes I feel like I’m rushing myself to get a post out to you, my readers and it sometimes isn’t as good as it can be.
I’ve got a few ideas that I plan to use regarding time keeping, and I hope that you all continue along the ride with me. Expect bigger, better posts and hopefully some fresh features coming your way very soon!

  1. Sweetaholic Rachel says:

Your blog is brilliant the way it is hun.
If you ever feel like you haven't got any ideas or something like that then take a week off from blogging, it will be really refreshing for you to come back and your project 365 have you thought about posting that every other day or in a weekly post?

  2. I think you do brilliantly. Don't feel like you have to post regularly, it's always good to take a blogging break, your followers won't be going anywhere! x
