Men’s Clothes That Also Look Incredible On Women

Collaborative Post

Dressing up in a man’s suit and bow-tie might look a little odd. But it turns out that there are all kinds of men’s-specific clothes out there that also look great on women.

There’s just one problem – the vast majority of us never explore this area of fashion. We walk right past the men’s section without even glancing.

It’s time to stop that.

In this post, we take a look at the so-called men’s clothes that look incredible on women too. Take a look.

Pleated Pants

Pleated pants can look great on men when paired with the right accessories. But they’re also a fashion hit on women too.

Wear them with a sweater and boots for the ultimate femme look.

Sneakers

Sneakers used to be something that men would wear whenever they wanted, but women would only put on to go to the gym. Not anymore. We’re increasingly seeing women wearing bright trainers with their outfits casually – and it looks great too.

Pulling off the sneaker’s look requires a lot of care, though. Ideally, choose brightly coloured trainers without any scuffs. Blemishes make the whole look appear dirtier, which isn’t what you want.

Pair trainers with a dress, your usual accessories, and a cap of the same colour.

Flannel Shirts

Aside from men’s belts, flannel shirts are just about as masculine as you can get. But they work amazingly well in combination with other items you probably have in your wardrobe, like hotpants and boots.

Flannel shirts help to keep you warm and allow you to add interesting layers to your outfits. When you have these in your wardrobe, you never get bored.

Grandpa Jumpers

We’ve all seen grandpas in jumpers at family gatherings or the stores. There’s nothing wrong with the look – it’s practical. But it takes a genius to turn it into a fashion victory for women.

Nevertheless, that’s what a lot of women are now doing. They’re taking thick, oversized winter jumpers and combining them with leggings and pumps to create a unique and attractive look.

The great thing about grandpa jumpers is that they offer exactly the same benefits to you as they do older men. They keep you warm and they allow you to cover up if you want to conceal your figure.

Trench Coats

Trench coats are usually something you see huddled men wearing in train stations. It’s the ultimate way to add height and create a bold first impression.

Now, though, we’re seeing women take on a similar guise. They’re pairing trench coats with high heels, black, body-hugging jeans, and totes.

Loafers

If you thought that loafers were only something that men wore in the summer, then allow us to enlighten you. This look is also becoming more popular among women too.

The trick here is to pair masculine-looking loafers with chinos, shirts and a light sweater. This combination avoids any clashing and keeps the entire outfit quite gender-neutral.

Wearing men’s clothes might seem a little odd. But there are so many ways to make it work. Try them for yourself!
