We have reviewed many of the LOL Surprise ranges recently and we were most recently sent the LOL Surprise Eye Spy Under Wraps for review. Available for £14.99 at Smyths, The Entertainer, Argos and all other good retailers, they are the brand new product from the brand.
A different shape to the LOL Surprise shape we’ve come to know and love, the product was certainly intriguing. As always, Jack was super eager to unwrap and see what he would find. As expected, you’ll find the usual clues, stickers and also a spy glass to try to decipher the clues. Where the product really comes into its own though is when you get to the case. The clues actually mean something – each clue unlocks a different section of the case so that you can release the surprise that is inside.
As with most LOL dolls, you will be unwrapping different parts of her outfit so you need to ensure you manage to unlock every section so that you can properly dress her! We had the outfit, the shoes, the sunglasses, the jewellery for her ears and her bottle.
The dolls accessories are all located in the small locked sections around the top and bottom of the case – the doll itself is locked away in the main part of the case and also needs a clue to be unlocked. When you finally get to your doll, she too is under wraps once more in a rubber outer shell which you have to take off of her.
Once everything was unwrapped, Jack couldn’t wait to get playing with her and Olivia had to join in too. As always, Jack followed the instructions and went to check if the LOL doll did anything when submerged in water. She spat water out of her mouth – and her ears! He was very happy to see what she did and had great fun trying to spray his sister with it!
Overall, we think this is a great addition to the LOL Surprise range and I do think that this will be a very popular choice on children’s Christmas lists this year! We can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
