Is it me or are the days all blending into each other right now? It’s hard to believe it is Tuesday once again.
If this is your first time seeing this linky, then you may not know that the idea came from Sarah and Jenni and Sarah kindly asked me to come on board!
If you would like to join in, the rules for linking up are super simple. All we ask is that you link back to me and Sarah within your post as we are the hosts offering a linky for you to share your post. All you need to do is answer the questions in a blog post, publish it then submit your link via the InLinkz tool at the bottom of the post.
Here are the questions:
1) How are you feeling/coping?
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 dats?
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come, what would it be?
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?

1. How are you feeling/coping?
I am doing okay but we’ve had a stressful few days. Our en suite sink sprung a leak which ended up soaking the cupboard underneath and down into the living room ceiling. Not great but thankfully it has all been sorted now. Plus Buddy started acting weird on about 1am on Sunday morning, shaking his head excessively and scratching violently at his ear. Long story short, we ended up ringing the emergency vets and he got diagnosed with an ear infection in both ears. He’s now got ear drops and a cone!
2. What have you been up to over the last 7 days?
Working, reading, helping kids with their home learning and also been watching a lot of TV. We are now on season 5 of Superstore!
3. What do you think the coming weeks (or months) might hold for you (or the world)?
I really don’t know. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed so far.
4. If you could remind yourself something about this in years to come, what would it be?
No matter how stressful it can be, at the very least everyone being at home means we are having quality time together.
5. What have you bought this week that others might like?
I actually can’t think! I am thinking of ordering some delicious sweets from a small business I saw on TikTok though!
6. What is a unique (or not!) technique you have used to get through this time?
Definitely not unique but I’ve been napping a bit – anyone else having little cat naps?
7. What is something your readers might not know about you?
I once wrote a (albeit very small) book. I have no idea where it went though which is sad.
8. What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Family, friends and books!

Poor Buddy it is horrible when they have something wrong, I hope he is better soon. What a nightmare about your sink glad you got it fixed. I am feeling so deflated by everything at the moment
Aww Buddy! He must be so uncomfortable – hope he makes a speedy recovery. Nightmares, things in the home always happen when you least expect it. Our fridge freezer broke down last week. Ugh! TikTok has me buying even more cleaning products lol
Poor buddy, I hope he’s feeling a little better now. Ear infections are no fun for anyone – human or pet.
I’m grateful for the same things you are this week… it seems to be overwhelming doesn’t it?
Ear infections are the worse!!! Poor little thing! Hahaha I’d love to cat nap! My 3 year old would shut that down straight away 🙂
Aww, bless that’s just the worst when leakage goes through the ceiling too and glad your dog has ear drops now.
Thanks for sharing your lockdown life. Overwhelmed is the right feeling for me too. we will get through this.
I feel really overwhelmed right now, it feels like lockdown three is definitely harder than the others. I do love finding a good small business on tiktok though, I have bought quite a few things from stores I have found on there,
