Can you believe it is Tuesday once again?
Have you been here before? Then you will know that the idea came from Jenni and Sarah. Sarah asked if I would like to come on board and here we are many weeks later!
If you’d like to link up with us, the rules for linking up are super simple. We only ask that you link back to me and Sarah within your post as we are the hosts offering a linky for you to share your post. Then all you need to do is answer the questions that we also answer every week. Once you’ve written and published your post, you just need to submit it via the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of the post!
Here are the questions:
1) How are you feeling/coping?
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 dats?
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come, what would it be?
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?

1. How are you feeling/coping?
I am okay – just getting a little bored but I think we’re all going through this.
2. What have you been up to over the last 7 days?
Well it was my birthday on Friday so I had a takeaway curry with Steve, opened my presents and cards that had been delivered and then had a Zoom call with my friends which ended around six hours later and very drunkenly!
I’ve also been reading, working, helping the kids with their home learning and we have also been watching a lot of TV. We’ve been rewatching The Good Place on Netflix in the evenings and we have also been watching Superstore on Netflix (loving it!), America’s Got Talent series 15 on Netflix as we didn’t watch it when it aired and rewatching Haven on Amazon Prime.
I also stayed up very late on Sunday to watch the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Even if I don’t watch wrestling all year, I will always watch this event and I was thrilled with the result.
3. What do you think the coming weeks (or months) might hold for you (or the world)?
Well I read yesterday that apparently the UK has enough vaccines on order for everyone to get both doses so that’s great – and it looks like mine should be in a few months time once the priority groups have all been done.
4. If you could remind yourself something about this in years to come, what would it be?
That teachers deserve so much more praise. The ones at my children’s school have been doing so much and working round the clock and I really appreciate them. Let’s carry forward this appreciation into the future.
5. What have you bought this week that others might like?
Well my mum gave me money for my birthday to put towards books so I bought quite a few. Would you like to see a birthday book haul post?
6. What is a unique (or not!) technique you have used to get through this time?
I’d say watching the Royal Rumble was something that not everyone did this week!
7. What is something your readers might not know about you?
Well I have actually mentioned before that I am a great auntie. However I am 31 (as of Thursday!) and I just became a great aunt for the FIFTH time to a beautiful little boy.
8. What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
My family and friends – the drunken Zoom call chat was exactly what I needed considering we couldn’t actually get together for my birthday! Also my clients – one of them sent me a massive box of Krispy Kreme donuts for my birthday!

It sounds like you had a great lockdown birthday and who can not like krispy kreme donuts, Congrtaulations on becomming a great auntie again
Definitely feeling the boredom kicking in , it’s the same stuff isn’t it . I was definitely not watching the royal rumble ha! The other half did though
Happy belated birthday. It’s such a fun thing that we can all still connect and have fun virtually. Royal Rumble, I viewed the results but I just can’t fully get into watching the program anymore 🙁
Lately, I find the weeks either fly by or they go at snail pace. I’m either feeling super motivated or I can barely be bothered to get out of bed some days.
Happy birthday! This sounds like a fun post. I also love watching The Good Place, it’s funny and heart warming. Also I love its life lessons very much. This past week has been very productive for me! I ran everyday from Monday and I can’t believe I’m actually doing it for myself. It feels great. I hope you have a beautiful week ahead. thanks for sharing! xx
Hi Rebecca. A belated ‘Happy Birthday’ to you! I think Lockdown Life is becoming increasingly challenging for many people. However, with the vaccine roll-out and the reduced transmission of the virus because of the lockdown, I’m optimistic that things will get better soon (say, at the end of the Summer). Interesting viewing choices, btw 🙂
Happy Birthday for Friday! I really liked these types of posts and how reflective they can be. Thank you for sharing.
Happy belated birthday and I love reading these weekly linkys. Glad you had a lovely birthday zooming with friends.
Book haul, book haul! I want to see everything you got for your birthday as I am so nosey! Lockdown birthday’s are very strange aren’t they?
