If you have checked out this linky before, you will know that it was born from a suggestion from Jenni at Lyrical Host, my fabulous hosting company and which came to fruition thanks to the brilliant mind of Sarah – and here we are, 31 weeks later!
The rules for linking up with us are pretty simple. All we ask is that you link back to me and Sarah in your post as we are the hosts and then answer the questions that we too answer every week. This week we have updated the questions to fit these new times so I’d love to see a few more of you joining up. Once you’ve added your post, submit it via the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of the post!
Here are the new questions:
1) How are you feeling/coping?
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
So how has the past week been for me?

1) How are you feeling/coping?
I am doing okay! Here we are again, back in lockdown as of Thursday. It is what it is!
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
Spending time with the kids and the dog going for long walks. We also popped to visit Steve’s parents.
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
Honestly? I don’t know. I don’t even really want to think about it.
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
That we all muddled through the best we could.
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
Nothing really. Just quite a bit of gin from Aldi, whoops!
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
Again I will mention the online murder mysteries. We finished the last one on Sunday and we are about to sign up for their next one. Let me know if you want the link to book too!
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
One of Jack’s names is a name that he, his Dad and his Dad’s Dad share. One of Olivia’s is a name that she, myself and my Mum share!
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Getting to see family albeit briefly!

I am not suprised we are back in lockdown, I think we are all trying to get to see our family and friends before Thursday. I managed to see my granddaughter yesterday x
That is so cool that you have kept a family name going I think that is a lovely way to pass things down 🙂
I really enjoyed reading this. I guess hearing how others are coping with the lockdown gives me a sense of normality knowing we are all in this together.
We’re feeling quite fortunate too as we managed to see my Grandparents (both sets) before the second lockdown. Fingers crossed we’ll see them at Christmas time too!
I’m not surprised by the new lockdown. I know it’ll be tough but I really do think it’s needed.
I honestly cannot believe it’s taken so long for the second lockdown to happen tbh. I hope that it is enough to get things under control.
I can’t blame you for buying a big bottle of gin! I probably should have done the same!
Glad to hear that you got to see your family, we always used to take seeing family for granted
