It is Tuesday again which means it is once again time for our Life In A Lockdown linky! Once again thanks go to Jenni from Lyrical Host for inspiring it and Sarah for creating it and inviting me along for the ride!
It is so simple to get involved. All we ask is that you give both Sarah and I a link back in your post, letting others know where to find the link-up. Then once it is live, all you need to do is pop over to mine or Sarah’s blog and pop your link in the InLinkz at the bottom so we can visit it and leave you a comment!
So what are my answers for this week??

1) How are you feeling/coping?
A lot better now we are out of self isolation. Still sad about my cousin and the news my friend received but also had some wonderful news that my niece is having a baby! I did however end up deleting a blogging friend – although they don’t really blog anymore – after they shared just some seriously awful stuff on their Facebook page.
I wouldn’t normally remove someone for a difference of opinion but when they (who believe Covid and vaccines for it etc are a load of rubbish) say that people like me and my family don’t care as much about the vulnerable, I’m not even going to bother with them anymore. My cousin died after not having seen his own mother since March because she couldn’t visit the care home he was in due to Covid! I was so angry so I removed them. Funnily enough these people aren’t sharing this stuff on the social medias that earn them money though…
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
Well we were in isolation until the weekend but since then we’ve been on a few lovely dog walks, a big food shop and taken Olivia to her first day at nursery!
3) What are your priorities at the moment, have you changed what you will / won’t go out for?
I’m currently only going out to the supermarket, to the school for school runs, to the childminders if I am the one picking Jack up and to walk the dog.
4) Have you found anywhere doing a really good job of catering to social distancing?
Nope as haven’t yet had the opportunity to.
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
I can’t actually think of anything…just stuff for the home like a lawnmower haha!
6) How has your routine been this week?
All over the place but getting back to it now the kids are back at school.
7) What have you learnt over lockdown (this doesn’t have to be a skill, it could be about yourself, your family, or something else).
Definitely who I can rely on – and those who really aren’t who they make themselves out to be.
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
My friends. They’ve been rocks this past week. Also my big brother P for checking in on me a few times. He’s a diamond and always looks out for me.

Why not answer too and link up below?

I am glad you are now able to get out and about, I think one thing this has taught us all is who you can rely on and what people are like x
Fabulous news about your niece but am so sorry to hear about your cousin. Also the fact you lost a blogging friend due to their senseless remarks, no need for negative energy in your life! Hope you are ok! Sim x
Facebook is absolutely crazy at the moment – I can’t understand the mentality of some people and the way they are acting. I am so glad you are able to get out again now.
Some great answers here. Facebook is mad at the moment. I understand if people don’t believe in this virus or think it’s a conspiracy theory – they’re welcome to their own opinion – but they should still keep in mind of other people’s believes and still wear masks because it doesn’t hurt them! x
I have had to unfollow a few “friends” over their thoughts about COVID and how they think its a scam, I find it crazy. What lovely news about your niece
Sometimes for you own mental health you need to remove some people from your life and sorry it went that way but it needed to be done.
Crazy times we are in. Social media brings very mixed blessings. Certainly time to revaluate priorities.
My routine is also all over the place since the kids went back to school and I went back to work. There are not enough hours in the day!
I love catching up with peoples week in lockdown posts and seeing how the are progressing over these uncertain times. The days certainly go by quicker now
Lockdown’s been a funny old thing, hasn’t it? I knew exactly which friends would stay in touch with us during it bus was surprised at which family members checked in every week and which didn’t.
