Life In A Lockdown {Linky} – Week 24

Yep, it is Tuesday again which means it is once again time for our Life In A Lockdown linky! Once again thanks go to Jenni from Lyrical Host for inspiring it and Sarah for creating it and inviting me along for the ride!

It is so simple to get involved. All we ask is that you give both Sarah and I a link back in your post, letting others know where to find the link-up. Then once it is live, all you need to do is pop over to mine or Sarah’s blog and pop your link in the InLinkz at the bottom so we can visit it and leave you a comment!

So what are my answers for this week??

1) How are you feeling/coping?

I am still in self isolation with the family but I am feeling a lot better than I was last week. However I have had a bit of a rubbish week. A family member passed away and a friend got some awful news.

2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?

Working, reading, playing games with the kids.

3) What are your priorities at the moment, have you changed what you will / won’t go out for?

I’m not going out at all at the moment!

4) Have you found anywhere doing a really good job of catering to social distancing?

Nope – as I haven’t been going out!

5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.

I haven’t bought anything but Steve has bought some personalised golf balls for his golf society.

6) How has your routine been this week?

All over the place! I really need to get back on track.

7) What have you learnt over lockdown (this doesn’t have to be a skill, it could be about yourself, your family, or something else).

Which family and friends will actually help you when you’re stuck!

8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?

My family and friends who’ve been helping us out lots by dropping off shopping.

  1. I can’t believe life is still so restricted really – back in March I never thought we’d be living in a world like we do now! Hopefully they find a vaccine soon, so more normality can begin to resume. x

I’ve been slowing down on my shopping trips as much as possible. My rountine is settling now as I’m finding my feet with the kids back at school. It’s good you have people that can drop off shopping.

  3. Sorry to hear your sad news. But I am god you’re feeling better.

I hope next week is a better one for you, take care and stay safe x

  4. Sending you big hugs – I know they won’t make things better with everything going on for you but I just want you to know I am here.

  5. Sorry about your loss especially at a time like this where you can’t do much being in quarantine. Hope you are all keeping safe.

I’m so sorry your week has been so rubbish, and I’m so sorry to hear about someone passing. It’s sad that it’s time’s like this you realise who the people closest to you are x

  7. My routine is really all over the place currently too. I’m either really motivated or just not at all, which isn’t helping.

  8. Sorry to hear that a friend passed away. Hopefully your isolation will be over soon. Thank goodness you have people to help you

  9. Sorry to hear about your bad news, hopefully the country can get some kind of normality soon, it really is starting to drag, and with new questionable rules coming in each week, I am at a loss as to when this will have an end!

  10. So sorry for you loss . It’s such a sad time and I wish things would get better for everyone xx

  11. Sorry to hear that you are still isolating, hopefully this will end soon. So glad that you do have family members closeby who are helping to drop off things also sorry to hear about the loss of your family member. Hope you have a better week

I am sorry for your loss. Sending you virtual hugs! For me, this has been a tough week. I got a really infected wound on my finger and it is not a good thing, being diabetic and all. The antibiotics I am on has given me a bitter taste to everything. I also lost a client, and so now I am “semi-jobless.” Still thankful I have side hustles. Hope this year ends soon. It has not been easy since January!

  13. So sorry for your loss. Life is just so tough at the moment isn’t it. I’m just feeling so fed up with the constant bad news, so ready for this year to be over!
