We are into week 21 of the Life In A Lockdown linky which means we are just five weeks away from running it for half a year – how crazy is that? Once again thanks go to Jenni from Lyrical Host for inspiring it and Sarah for creating it and inviting me along for the ride. We recently decided to change up the questions so be sure to check them out and give them an answer too!
It is so simple to get involved. All we ask is that you give both Sarah and I a link back in your post, letting others know where to find the link-up. Then once it is live, all you need to do is pop over to mine or Sarah’s blog and pop your link in the InLinkz at the bottom so we can visit it and leave you a comment!
So how has my week been?

1) How are you feeling/coping?
I’ve been feeling okay. Things slowly seem to be going back to normal and I am still a bit unsure about the change and how quickly this is all happening.
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
I’ve spent a lot of time at home working or doing stuff with the family or the dog. I’ve also seen friends and been preparing for Jack going back to school and Olivia starting nursery.
3) What are your priorities at the moment, have you changed what you will / won’t go out for?
Ensuring a smooth transition for Jack into Year 4 and Olivia into Nursery and making sure we have everything they need. Spending time at home and enjoying the time we have together. I am trying not go out too much still unless it is for food or taking the dog for a walk.
4) Have you found anywhere doing a really good job of catering to social distancing?
This was a week or so ago but we really loved our meal at The Leagate Inn in Coningsby and they’re doing a great job of social distancing.
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
I actually haven’t bought much again this week!
6) How has your routine been this week?
Again a bit all over the place especially as Steve has been working split shifts.
7) What have you learnt over lockdown (this doesn’t have to be a skill, it could be about yourself, your family, or something else).
I haven’t learnt much really! Just that I enjoy spending time with my family but even so it can be difficult to spend this much time with them without a break!
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Spending time with family and friends. Getting myself prepared for the kids going to school/going back to school and being able to dedicate more hours to my business.
Please do check out these posts from last week:

It is strange how things are going back to normal, but also totally different to how things were before. It is nice to be able to get out and about again though
I just enjoy being able to go our again. I don’t like being in the house for a long period of time like weeks!
I can’t believe Olivia is going to be starting nursery! How are they growing up so quickly? Can you tell them to stop please.
I wish things would go back to normal here, but we are still on quarantine. Can you believe that! Since March 16th! Restrictions change every two weeks, but thankfully we are coping. I can’t wait for the time when we can finally go out without a mask and face shield and breathe freely!
I think it reality ive not learned anything over Lockdown, ell may how some people cannot follow social distancing or have any consideration of others lol, the count down for kids going back to school is on, we are mostly there now.
I have been buying the kids school uniform online this week but have got sizes that are too big, so means I need to go into the shops……..that will teach me. Hope you enjoy your last couple of weeks of having the kids home
I’ve been trying to organise all the school uniform and PE kits ready for September! The kids need a bit of structure back now.
These link-ups are a good idea. I’ve been thinking about starting one myself around food 🙂 I’m glad I’m not the only one whose routine is all over the place.
It must be crazy to think that Olivia is going into nursery, especially during a year like this. The school holidays have disappeared x
It’s such a weird time isn’t it? sort of normal, but not really.so strange. I’ve mostly been avoiding getting ready for school this week.
We are told to expect a “new normal”. What is normal? There probably is a range of what is normal, or thought of as normal. Presently watching Inside the Bruderhofen ( which I had never heard of. So seems like I shall be learning something new. Not new to some others, as apparently this (Bruderhofen) has been a way of life for a century for some. Origins :- Don’t know, and hoping to find out. Also aim to google the term later, in order to increase my learning / understanding. Life Long Learning.
It’s such a strange time to try and get back to normal when things are far from it . We’re all doing our best aren’t we
