It seems bizarre to think we’ve been doing this linky now for 18 weeks and have had so many of you reading it and going along for the ride. We don’t know how long we will be continuing this on for – I suppose until we come out from any type of lockdown measures – but we hope you continue to come along for the ride with us. This linky is the brainchild of Jenni from Lyrical Host who suggested the idea to Sarah who asked me to join her in hosting. Be sure to check them both out!
So how has my week been?

1) How are you feeling/coping?
I’m doing okay although I wish we were still away. Steve has got two weeks off now so looking forward to spending time together as a family.
2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied?
Working, reading and even doing charity Friends quizzes!
3) How are you dealing with everything at the moment – are you self-isolated, going out for essentials etc? Has this changed?
Yeah, I’m doing okay. I have a much more positive outlook on things. We went to Costco this week to stock up on stuff to save on smaller shopping trips.
4) What advice do you have for others?
Be vigilant and stay safe!
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
I’ve bought two face masks – one from a seller on Etsy for Steve which is Marvel and one from a lady who is on a Facebook debt group with me and who I bought a Harry Potter mask from. I wanted to get a nice good quality one and when I saw her selling, I thought it was a lovely idea – I’d get the mask I want and she could put it towards debt. Mine cost £5 posted and Steve’s cost £8.99 posted.
6) How has your routine been this week?
A bit all over the place but slowly getting back into one.
7) Have you planned anything for once lockdown is over in the past 7 days?
Nope, not that I can think of.
How about you?

It’s good to hear you’re feeling more positive about things right now, it’s been a crazy ride hasn’t it?
Oh I love this idea for a linky. I Will take part for sure!
It’s surprising how we have adapted to the lockdown and got used to a new routine. I am back at work so things are more routine for me now.
Aww yay for Steve having a couple of weeks off. I hope you get to spend some time catching up with friends and family.
I can’t believe we’re on week 18. This whole year just feels so surreal. I’m glad you’re feeling more positive about things.
Glad your week was ok, ive just had a week off and even though we were restricted in what we can do it was nice to have some time off etc.
Glad you had an ‘okay’ week. I am desperate to get back to Costco, I love their pastries.
Well in our area, we have been put on stricter quarantine guidelines (again). CoVid cases keep rising and at an alarming rate. I remember my friend reminding me to mind my diet, but I thought why limit my food intake when I am not even sure of what the next few weeks will look like. It seems like the only thing constant for us is anxiety.
Sounds like you had a good week, I’ve got a few face masks but I think I need to get more purchased since we are wearing more of it now as we go out.
Even my routine has been all over the place lately! I am glad your husband took 2 weeks off so I hope you have some quality family time spend with him!
I hope Steve has a lovely few weeks off and you enjoy some family time x
Glad to hear you are feeling more positive. I have been selling masks at work for my talented friend, they are definitely becoming a new fashion accessory
