You might have noticed that the name of the linky has changed! That is because, here in the UK, we are no longer in a lockdown so the name no longer fit the linky and we wanted to still continue on with the linky. Life still isn’t as it was before and we wanted to document this in our weekly posts. We have also come up with some new questions with help from regular link Sam.
So if you didn’t know already, this linky is run by myself and Sarah from Life In A Breakdown. If you want to join in, then you simply need to write your own post, linking back to both myself and Sarah, and add it to the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of the post.
So what are these new questions?
1. How are you feeling/coping?
2. What have you been up to over the past 7 days? Are you living life as normal, being cautious or still being very careful?
3. What’s a helpful tip you would like the future to know about living in / or after a pandemic?
4. What tips do you have for others when out and about?
5. What is your favourite post of the past 7 days (it could be yours or someone else’s)?
6. What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
7. What has made you smile this week?
8. Anything else you would like to mention?

1. How are you feeling/coping?
I have to admit that I have struggled this week. I mentioned last week that Steve was poorly and was in hospital, hopefully coming home last Tuesday. He got let out late Wednesday and has slowly been recovering. But the last few days of school run paired with trying to work, doing the school runs alone, arranging childcare and stuff for Cubs etc definitely took their toll and I am feeling extremely exhausted.
2. What have you been up to over the past 7 days? Are you living life as normal, being cautious or still being very careful?
The past week I have been very cautious. I have had to go out and do things but I have worn my mask when in enclosed spaces as I feel more comfortable doing that.
3. What’s a helpful tip you would like the future to know about living in/or after a pandemic?
That you will be surprised by some people you thought you knew. Sometimes people’s true colours come out and they can be truly vile.
4. What tips do you have for others when out and about?
Do whatever you have to make you feel safe – if that means masks, then do it. If it means avoiding certain places, do it.
5. What is your favourite post of the past 7 days? (it could be yours or someone elses)?
I love this post about the disadvantages of blogging.
6. What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Family and friends who rallied round when I needed them. Mum who picked Olivia up when I needed her to, friends who gave me lifts or picked Jack up, Jack’s childminder who was really flexible, a friend whose son is best friends with Olivia who had her for a play date – they have been amazing.
7. What has made you smile this week?
Those people above who have been there for me.
8. Anything else you would like to mention?
Don’t think so!

I’m glad Steve made it home and hopefully he is slowly starting to feel better! I think just being in hospital can be draining in itself. So glad people rallied around you to help with the kids as well that is a huge thing.
I am glad Steve is now home and he is recovering, I always think you recover better at home. This past week has been a real eye opener hasn’t it. I just do my own thing wear my mask if I feel the need to
I really hope that Steve feels better soon. I am also ensuring that I am comfortable while not judging people, now that freedom day has passed.
Glad Steve is gone now lovely , I’m still not convinced this is freedom day and it’s all done with but in keeping my fingers crossed that it is xx

I definitely think everyone needs to do what is best for them with the pandemic as it lingers. No judgments and just keep safe!
