I wish I could say I loved travelling but I haven’t really been enough places to say that. Sure, I have been all over the country and abroad once to Rome but I really would love to travel all over the place, whether across the UK or across the world. I remember when my Nan used to visit Jersey and used to come back with all kinds of goodies for us. I have never been myself, although I would love to – I’ve heard only positive things about the place. Have you ever been? The Jersey Tourism and Jersey Travel Service are actually looking for your stories right now – they are holding a competition right here if you wish to enter? Why not revisit your favourite place?
I would love to visit Rome again, it was such an amazing experience and of course, the place where Steve and I got engaged. So when asked to review a photobook from Huggler (and facing fresh criticism from Steve for having no photos of Rome on display in the house, apart from the proposal picture), I knew exactly what I would create.

Below: In the book
This is just one page of the photobook and I have a similar picture on the cover below. I chose black for the front cover to make the cover picture stand out and I really think it works. The lighting in my pictures from Rome varies from fantastic to quite poor so I did worry about how the pictures would turn out.
I needn’t have worried. The book itself is incredibly sturdy whilst remaining thin and lightweight – Jack can pick this up and walk off with it with ease unlike other albums and books I have. Although the light quality changes from picture to picture, somehow Huggler seem to have made every picture on every page as good as the next.
I hadn’t heard much about Huggler before but it seems to be that if you are looking for a photobook, these are the people to go to. I now have somewhere where my memories from a fantastic holiday can be stored forever and I am really chuffed.
I chose the Personalised Hardcover Photo Book which normally retails at £29.99 but is currently on sale at just £14.99 – why not take a look?

Ahhh what a lovely snap! I think it's reallllly important to print photos these days, I take thousands but rarely go back and look at them, with a photo book you can flick through whenever!

Photo books seem like a really nice idea – otherwise our pictures will just sit on our memory cards and facebook accounts. Having them in a book somehow makes them more real!
Totally agree x
