I missed a trick not posting this on May the 4th, didn’t I? Oops! We were recently asked if we (aka Jack) would like to review a ReadyBed from Worlds Apart and we gladly accepted. Jack is now getting to the age where he will be staying round his grandparents houses and whilst they obviously have beds for him to sleep in, we thought this would be a fun thing that he can take to his sleepovers if he so wishes. We chose the Star Wars Junior ReadyBed.
The bed itself is fairly simple to make – inflation takes mere minutes and hey presto, you have your bed ready. They do suggest to keep an eye on inflation to see what level of inflation will be good for you – whatever is comfortable for you. The mattress is inside the sleeping bag to give the feel of a real bed and the pump is provided within the box to inflate the mattress.
Jack is yet to use it elsewhere but he is OBSESSED with the bed – in fact, he has actually asked to sleep in it instead of his own bed on a couple of occasions. I’m guessing it has the comfort factor then! The material that the sleeping bag is made of is really soft and it zips up easily with no snags.
As you can see, he really loves it and it is hard to get him out of it when he is in it. I can see this being a favourite item of his for years to come. It looks good, it is comfy and it is practical – what’s not to love?
