Inspiration: Hair Edition

Way back in December, I asked your advice as to what I should do with my hair. Five months down the line and I still haven’t done anything about it, having not had the time to really think about it until now.
It has finally got too long for me – although other people seem to like my long hair better, I don’t feel comfortable with it, it’s getting tangled and knotted all the damn time and Jack loves nothing better at the moment than to try and yank a few strands of Mummy’s hair out of her head 10 times a day – it’s a fun game, it seems…
Whilst I find the (lack of) funds to get me a fab new hairstyle, take a look at some hairstyles and shades I’ve been crushing on recently…

The Katniss Everdeen braid.
Okay, to achieve this look, cutting my hair may seem like a super silly idea, but it doesn’t stop me lusting
after this simple but gorgeous style. If only my tired eyes and hands could be bothered to braid every
morning – this would be how I wore my hair every day.I finished the second book last night and have juststarted Mockingjay…eek!

Drew Barrymore, always.
This woman seems to always get it so right with regards to her hair. Straight, wavy, curly…she suits it all. This is my favourite look of hers though, sleek, polished and beautiful.

                                                         Karen Gillan’s vibrant red.

If I ever dye my hair ginger, can it be this shade please? This girl is b-eee-aut-iful! I adore her and think she is massively underrated as both an actress and a pretty woman –
I mean, look how stunning she is!

Hayden Panettiere’s bob.
I’m not so sure about how old this picture is but this is probably what I most want my hair to look like –
I always seem to go for bobs though so it’d be nice to go for something a little different.. I’m not brave enough for the total chop though!

Have you got any ideas on what styles or shades I should consider?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!

  1. I think a boob might be good – its not overly radical and still has some length to it so you can tie it back as and when you need to. My hairs a bit neglected really. I'm normally just either having it down and straightened or I tie it back in an overly messy state.
