How Much Is My Face Worth?

I have been tagged numerous times to do this tag and nagged quite a bit by certain people *cough* Shona and Lisa *cough* – so I thought it was high time I did it. Here are my current makeup picks:

I start off by using my Witch Blemish Stick (£2.89) before using my Collection Primed and Ready Smoothing Make-Up Primer (£5.99). I then apply my base of choice, this currently being the Ginvera Green Tea Nude BB Cream – I have a 8g sample size which is £2 but the bigger sizes are £18 and £26 respectively.

I then use my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (£4.19) before starting on my eyes. I am currently using the MUA Professional Eye Primer which I cannot see on the site anymore – the primer on there though is currently £2.50. I then use my MUA Heaven and Earth palette, a snip at £4. I am currently using a Lancome Hypnose Star mascara sample which at full size would retail at £22.

For the rest of my face, I am currently using the Sleek blush in ‘Rose Gold’(£4.49) and my Natural Collection Pressed Powder which retails at £1.99. Lastly, I am using one of the new Body Shop Colour Crush lipsticks in ‘Spice Things Up’ which I really like so far – this costs £10. I normally apply my Balmi lip balm first though which is £4.99. I then set my makeup with the Collection Fix Me Up Long Lasting Makeup Fixer which I’m not impressed with but costs £5.99.

Altogether, my face comes to £67.03 – this is actually much less than I expected it to be so I am quite impressed! I may do these every so often when I mix up my makeup bag – would this be something you would be interested in seeing?

I tag any of you who would like to do this tag – it really is interesting seeing how much money you’ve spent!

  1. Ahhh this is great. I have never tried BB cream… although I have always wanted to! So going to have a go at this post tomorrow. If my baby brain reminds me! xx

  2. Once I've moved house (in 2 weeks!) I'm going to set about doing this tag. Scared at the outcome but always interested in reading them!

  4. I've been meaning to do this tag for ages, but I don't want to admit to myself how much all my makeup costs me! I'm intrigued by the Natural Collection powder, I love Rimmel Stay matte but at £1.99 I should give NC a go xx
