Guylian Sea Horses – Perfect Gift

Your children may have broken up from school already but youngsters up and down the land are either coming up to their last days before the summer holidays or planning for an end of term treat. What better way to reward your child’s teacher than a box of Guylian’s sea horses! I was sent some to try and also have a giveaway so keep your peepers peeled…

I am a huge fan of Belgian chocolate so it doesn’t last long in my account and these were no exception. They tasted just as you would expect – full of flavour and creamy! Jack liked the shapes and I often caught him trying to pinch a couple for himself! What I like best about Guylian is that they are so affordable too – they feel so luxuriously expensive that you often forget that they have such an affordable price tag! These are the perfect gift for anyone, not just teachers!

So would you like to win a box? Here is how you can:

Just complete the Rafflecopter form. Commenting is mandatory, all other options are optional. Giveaway is UK only. All entries will be moderated and verified. One entry per household. Any multiple entries from the same person will be removed. Ends 30th July 2014 at midnight. Good luck!

  1. For me a gift can be anything as long as it's meaningful and the person genuinely wanted it or thought that the recipient would like it! Also love your blog! 🙂

  2. I usually try to buy something different and unusual. I bought my mom goldfish one time. something shed never go get herself. She loved them. In general though for people I don't know then chocs or flowers are good

  3. Anything as long as the person who bought it had thought about what I like. Xxxx

  4. anything as long as it's given with love and has been picked out especially

  5. when you work with children (I am a teaching assistant) chocolates, wine etc doesn't matter, the gifts that matter are those that are from the heart ie daisy chains, loom bands, a stone. You have to remember that children don't have money so if they find a rock and give it to you you should treasure it as thats all they had to give and they chose to give it to you 😀

  6. something that has been given with love, expense doesnt matter

  7. Depends who it's for, but you can't go too far wrong with wine and chocolate!!!!

  8. It really doesn't matter what the gift is as long as some love went into choosing it.

  9. Mummy of Two says:

Anything made by my children is a winner with me!

  10. i like chocolate and flowers but my fav gift from my husband would be a back massage

  11. The item itself is completely immaterial, if its given with love then its perfect.

  12. A food hamper can be adapted to include the recipient's favourite foods so perfect.

  13. The perfect gift should be personal. That only you can give, and to that special person only.

  14. It depends on the occasion I suppose. Perfect gift should be meaningful if it's for an anniversary or something like that. If it's just a random gift, then chocolates sounds absolutely perfect to me lol. Always up for some tasty chocolates!

  15. I think the perfect gift would be a weekend trip away… a surprise weekend trip! I need a vacation.

  16. Any gift is treasured – something thoughtful and personal especially so

  17. An experience that i will remember, be it a meal out or something fun we did together x

  18. I like something I can use like a hamper or smellies, especially something that I wouldn't think to buy myself 🙂

  19. a gift to me is anything with meaning it could be a scribbled picture on an envelope by a 2 year old because i know they made it just for me. much better than expensive stuff!

  20. It's the thought that counts so as long as the person has thought about me I don't mind 🙂

  23. The perfect gift is hand-made and useful. Every time you use the gift you think of the person who made it.

  24. I'm grateful for anything myself. But if I was giving a gift to another person I would give money to be spent as wished.

  31. The perfect gift, for me, is something that's been thought about and chosen with care. The price is irrelevant as anyone can just walk into a shop, pick up something and pay for it, but real valued presents, are those that have been chosen with care and thought, rather than cost.
