My kids love constructing stuff and Olivia will happily sit there for hours, playing and building stuff. It is an activity that both Jack and Olivia love to do which means they will happily play together for ages with no bickering when doing so!
We were recently asked if we would like to review a product from the Geomags range, the Glitter Panels Magnetic Construction Set. Retailing at £26 on The Entertainer website, this set has 35 different pieces and is for ages 5+.
Who Are Geomagworld?
They are a brand who have been around since 1998 when they invented the first magnetic construction toy. Still going a quarter of a century later, they use 100% renewable energy to produce them.
Geomagworld are based in Switzerland and their products are made at their factory in Canton Ticino. By creating products at their headquarters, they can guarantee the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
What Is Included?
Included in the set are 12 spheres, 12 magnetic rods, 10 panels and 1 base. They all come in a cool glittery storage box!
What Did We Think?
Olivia loved constructing the set – she made so many different designs and structures. She loves the sparkly glittery rods and shiny spheres – and she loved the case too!
As a parent, I love that she can build whatever designs she likes and that the products she is using are all made from 100% recycled plastic.
The magnets are extremely powerful – Olivia loved that constructing the set was so easy with them although she did lose a couple of the spheres at one point so I had to go looking for them. They are quite tiny so can easily roll away under sofas!
The set is a great kit for children age 3+. I would advise that children under 5 be supervised with this set due to the small pieces – the size of the magnets mean they could easily be swallowed.
The Geomagworld brand have an amazing selection of products and this is a great addition to the range. We are certainly going to pick up some more products in the range such as the 22 piece set and the 60 piece set. They are such good quality and are extremely affordable too!
