My post today is all about women who inspire me. There isn’t many but each of these ladies inspire me for different reasons.
First up, this lovely lady is my Nan. She inspires me for numerous reasons. Life hasn’t always been easy for her but she always comes out fighting. She is always available for a chat and always has some good advice. If I am anything like her when I am her age, I know I’ve done well.
Agatha Christie may seem like an odd choice for someone of my age but if you’ve read this blog for a long time, you will know I am a huge fan of her work. I love reading her books and trying to work out who did it – it seems crazy to me that someone can imagine such scenarios as she did but we all know that she did, the books are the living proof!
I’ve always liked Lea Michele but have gained so much more respect for her in the wake of Cory Monteith’s death. The poise and dignity she retained whilst grieving and the fact that she still thought of the fans when going through such personal turmoil was amazing and I had the utmost respect for her.
I love Jennifer Lawrence because she isn’t your typical celebrity. She doesn’t court the paparazzi and even she still gets starstruck! I love the fact that she remains grounded at all times.
Finally, someone that seems to be on every inspiration list! The clothes, the poise, the dignity, the films, the charity work – this woman was a gem!
Who inspires you?

Nice topic for a post. I think I am most inspired by Suze Orman and Oprah Winfrey. These are both self-made women of modest beginnings who made tremendous impact on the lives of others.
