You may have noticed it has been a little quiet around here for the past few days apart from the scheduled advent giveaways. Steve finally had some proper time off work so we took advantage of that and went away with Jack for a couple of days. Whilst it was okay, Jack fell ill the first day and we spent the majority of the trip indoors – however that meant we got time to chill out and relax. Whilst we were there, we started talking about our holiday plans for 2014.
We are debating whether to stay in the UK or go abroad and this conversation was brought on as we were near Dover. France itself came up in conversation too – we’ve been thinking about taking Jack to Disneyland Paris at some point – would 2014 be the year?

Brittany Ferries have created a fun infographic talking about the pros and cons of travelling to France by ferry or plane. As someone with a child who isn’t too keen on flying, a trip on the ferry would probably be much more suited to our needs, plus the hassle is a lot less too!
Now to tell Steve to start saving for Disneyland…

Never been to Disneyland Paris. My chilren would love to go. I'm afraid they'll both be all grown up before we can afford to go. Hope you can go next year.
