When it comes to Easter, there are so many different Easter eggs to choose from and so many brands to buy from. There are all manners of shapes and sizes from an egg that can fit into the palm of your hand to a giant chocolate egg in a basket – no kidding, I actually won a raffle for one of those once – I was eating it for weeks!
Thorntons is one such brand – they have quite the selection to choose from and this is the Family Easter gift selection, minus the Continental Alpini little eggs that Jack and Steve pinched! I have always loved Thorntons since I was a child – I used to beg my Dad to take me in just so I could buy my Mum’s presents from there. It didn’t matter what occasion it was for – birthday, Mother’s Day, Easter, Christmas – and my reasons were quite selfish: I knew she’d let me have some too. But ssh, don’t tell her – she still thinks my intentions were all good!
Thorntons have even got into the Easter spirit by sharing a lovely post about unusual Easter eggs from around the world – I would love to visit the German market, it looks so pretty! If you are looking for some last minute Easter goodies, then perhaps Thorntons are the way to go – they have so much more range than other places out there and the quality and taste is just superb. I think the diet is on hold until after Easter…
What is your favourite Easter egg? Do you have one you have to get every year?

I was sent the gift selection in return for this post.
