I’m back again with a Degustabox review. The box this month was jam packed full of goodies so lets see what I received this month…
There was something for everyone this month and as always, I received what the alcohol box and alcohol free box would include.
Jordans Simply Granola: Crunchy Baked Oats with a hint of honey – £2.69
We loved this – all three of us gave this a go and this will be added to our shopping list from now on.
Carnation Cook With It! – £1.65 each/ £3.30 for the two
We haven’t used these yet but are looking forward to seeing what they are like in cooking.
La Viela Fabrica Marmalade – £1.59
I’m not a fan of marmalade so I left it to Steve to taste test this. He said it was a little sweeter than other marmalades he had tried but that was in no way a bad thing. He really enjoyed it.
Elizabeth Shaw Dark Chocolate Mint Thins – £2.50
Elizabeth Shaw are becoming a staple in the Degustabox and as always, they don’t disappoint. Naughty little treat that tastes amazing!
Pick Up Milk Chocolate & Black ‘N’ White biscuits – £1.69 per back, £3.38 for the two
I was first introduced to these last year after receiving them in a goodie bag from a blogger event. I was super excited to see them in my Degustabox and they didn’t disappoint. I prefer the milk chocolate biscuits but both are lovely.
Burts Lentil Waves: Thai Sweet Chilli, Sour Cream, Lightly Salted – 69p each, £2.07 for all three
I was a little apprehensive when I first saw these as was Steve. Lentil crisps didn’t exactly sound very appealing. We were pleasantly surprised however – I loved the sour cream ones and the chilli were a little sweeter than I expected but lovely all the same. The lightly salted were simple and understated and were the perfect snack.
Little Miracles drinks – £1.59 per bottle, £3.18 for the two
Steve wasn’t too keen on these but I ended up drinking both anyway. I thought they were nice but nothing special. It was nice to see organic energy drinks.
We are HUGE Crabbie’s fans in this household so were happy to see them pop up in the Degustabox. The Zesty Lemon was exactly that and full of flavour – I’m definitely tempted to try others in the range. The non alcoholic cloudy lemonade was pretty much overtaken by the ginger when there was only meant to be a hint – but as we are fans of ginger, it wasn’t too big a deal for us. Definitely worth trying more of the range.
