Degustabox | July 2023

I was sent a Degustabox for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Don’t forget you can get your first box here. Here are our thoughts on the July Degustabox.

The theme for this month was Summer & Get Outdoors. So what did we think?

Boost Iced Coffee Caramel Latte – £1.19

Neither Steve or I drink coffee or coffee flavoured drinks so we passed this onto my brother in law and he really enjoyed this!

Sauce Shop Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce – £2.75

We actually saw this in a shop a few days before the Degustabox arrived and considered getting it so we thought it was fate this appeared in the box. It’s absolutely delicious and we will certainly be picking it up again!

SXOLLIE Xider Cripps Pink xider – £1.80

We love cider in our house so were happy to see this. It was surprisingly extremely delicious and has no added sugar. I’ll definitely be getting this again!

Dalston’s Soda Peach Soda & Rhubarb Soda – £2 each

I’m not the biggest fan of sparkling waters but Steve enjoys these. We have had Dalston’s products before and these are a great addition to their range.

Mentos Gum Pure Fresh Cherry Chewing Gum – £2.50

Steve absolutely adores cherry so was happy to see these. He’s diabetic too so has to be careful what he consumes so he was happy to see that they were sugar free. These did not last very long, they are very flavourful and a really nice gum.

Muscle Moose The Dinky Protein Bar – £1.50

This is the Product of the Month! I’m not always a big fan of protein bars but this was very tasty and is also low sugar and high protein. Available at Asda, we may pick up some more of these.

Plantastic Millionaire Flapjacks – £2.25

We have had these before and although the kids found them okay, they weren’t the biggest fans of them. One of Olivia’s best friends has a milk allergy so we passed these onto her and she really enjoyed them!

KIND Snacks Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt – £2.50

I wasn’t sure what I’d think of these but they are surprisingly addictive! The sea salt adds a real nice flavour to them!

Very Lazy Cajun Paste – £2

You already know we love Very Lazy products and this has already been used in some meals. Totally delicious!

Kettle Chips Sriracha Mayo – £1.50

These are full of flavour and a great addition to the Kettle Chips range! Sriracha paired with mayo is a winning combination and I will definitely get more of these!

Jordan’s Country Crisp Limited Edition Red Velvet -£3.80

Country Crisp is one of my favourite cereals anyway and this red velvet cereal is a great addition, it is a shame it is limited edition. The usual cereal you come to expect plus delicious chocolate brownie pieces – oh so good! I am definitely going to pick up another box of this!

Overall this was a great box. Some of the items we wouldn’t use but we were able to pass them onto people we knew would. The box contents totalled over £25 which makes the box a fantastic deal!
