Degustabox | August

I love receiving a monthly Degustabox – it is always so intriguing to see what is inside! You can try it out too – I have a discount code for £3 off here: HWBGF

So what did I receive this month?
Mexican Dave’s Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips (£1.00) – We’ve had these or something similar to these in the box before. They’re okay and a nice snack but not something I would buy regularly.
Brioche Pasquier Pains Au Lait (£1.69) & Brioche Pasquier Croissants (£1.79)  – By far my favourite items of the box. These are incredible and made for some yummy breakfasts and snacks!
Dr Oetker Edible Wafer Cupcake Cases (£2.50) – Whilst these are probably something we wouldn’t buy if we saw them in the shops, these definitely proved a hit when we found them in the box. Steve loves baking and him and Jack will be using these soon.

Schwartz Flavour Shots in Spanish Smoked Paprika Chicken & Mexican Fajitas (£1.39 each) – Flavour Shots are another repeat product in the Degustabox but I am not complaining. We loved the last bunch so much we bought more flavours and now with the addition of these, we have quite the collection going for some quick, easy dinners.
Berry White Organic Peach & Goji Berry drink (£1.59) – Steve drank the majority of this but I tried a little sip. This was very peachy and you couldn’t really taste the goji berry but it was nice and refreshing.
Cawston Press Kid’s Blend Apple & Pear (£1.89 for 3) – Whilst this product hasn’t been seen in the boxes before, the brand has and we have always been quite impressed. Jack and Steve tried this and Jack concurred that it was yummy but Steve said it was quite watery and you couldn’t taste the pear at all. However, if Jack likes it then that’s all good to me!
Caribbean Twist Strawberry Daiquiri drink (£2.50) – I’m a big fan of these drinks as they are a cheap alternative to other alcoholic drinks and perfect for summer barbecues. This was no exception but I’m keeping most of it aside for when some friends come round.
We also received a voucher for Degustabox Fridge to spend on a Moma Birtcher Muesli Multipack for £2.99. I like the addition of these vouchers for items that couldn’t really be packed into a box and spend ages on a delivery van! A very novel idea.

Overall, I am quite impressed with this months box. There was a little disappointment to see some items pop up again but I believe they were popular items the last time so why wouldn’t they be included again further down the line? I totally understand that.
You can buy your own Degustabox for £12.99 a month (including delivery) here. Don’t forget to use the discount code for £3 off further up the review!
