I mentioned in my recent post about making some cash for Christmas that apps are a big thing when it comes to money making and money saving nowadays. One of my good blogging friends uses apps a lot in her day to day life and with the cash from those among other things adding up to more per month than what she earns in her full time job, she has now quit her job to work from home full time.
Adding another string to her bow, she has recently become an author too, releasing a fantastic book called 50 iPhone Apps To Earn Cash. I don’t have an iPhone myself but Steve does and we also own an iPad so I was intrigued to see what apps would work for us (I also took the opportunity to check on my Android store for the apps Emma has listed and found a few that I could download).
50 apps seems like a stretch, right? Would you really believe that there are that many apps out there, designed to help you make money? Emma has found them all though and whilst some are slow burners, some can see you earning money pretty much every single day or week. I like to talk about my side hustles, I’m always trying to earn a little extra money to cut down debt and also save a little. Having a variety of apps to use to earn money from among all the other things I do really helps and the extensive list Emma provides is great for working out which ones work for you and which ones don’t, you can separate the slow earners from the quicker ones or simply opt for specific types – mystery shopping, surveys etc. With Emma’s handy little descriptions of each app, you can easily see if it is the right one for you.
I really enjoyed the book and found plenty of apps that I am now using to make a little here and there – the beauty of this book is being able to dip in and out and try your hand at another app if one isn’t working for you. I really hope she brings out another book with her awesome personal finance knowledge, I will be first in line to buy it.
