I so wanted not to fail the Blog Every Day In May challenge…and it was all going along swimmingly until last night. I knew I still had to write my post for the day and popped out for one drink as it was my mate’s birthday. Steve stayed at home and as you can imagine, it turned into more than one drink! I still got home before 12 – the mummy in me! – but it was far too late to write a post then, so you’re getting it today!
As far as my travel dreams, my wishlist of places to visit is eclectic to say the least. Myself & Steve have said that we will go on a road trip around America once Jack (and any possible subsequent) children are grown up. We are also planning to visit Canada as Steve’s paternal side of the family originates from there. Of course, there are the places that seemingly everyone in the world wants to visit – Australia, New Zealand et cetera – but I also want to visit places like Finland & Iceland – these places have fascinated me since I was a little girl and my desire to go, especially to Finland, has only increased since my brother went recently and did nothing but rave about how great it was!
I’ve only actually been abroad once; Rome back in September; but Italy is somewhere I would love to visit again, it is such a beautiful country. Where would you most like to visit in the world?

The topic for today is favourite book or five books that changed your life. I have to admit that even I, an avid reader, am struggling to choose my favourite book of all time. I think it would have to be something like this:
The intensity and the absolute genius of the storyline is absolutely brilliant and I love the way how Christie weaves the tale together. Whilst it isn’t the first nor the last Agatha Christie book I have read, it is the book that truly reaffirmed my love for her work and other books in the crime/mystery genre. Her as an author is what really got me into reading when I was younger and this novel is one of her best works.
What is your favourite book?

OOh interesting choice of book, I never got on with any Agatha Christie, I found them to be too obvious xx
